In 1976, Allen Rice, a Harvard graduate, formed RICE Hydro—the first and foremost company to tackle the challenges of hydrostatic testing pumps. Mr. Rice served for many years in the water municipality industry in California, and upon retiring set out to create a series of reliable products suitable to make the precise measurements that contractors need on the job. What he created truly revolutionized the contracting industry—the first hydrostatic test system.
